Roberto Rios & Christine

Roberto Rios is a parishioner of St. Matthew Church in San Antonio. He and his wife Christina Perez Rios have four children: Eduardo, 40; Gabriel Rene, 38; Maria Elena, 37; and David Thomas, 33; along with 12 grandchildren. Robert was born on Dec. 12, 1941, in San Antonio. He attended San Antonio Vocational and Technical High School (Fox Tech), Warren Hunter Art School and San Antonio College. He recently retired after 41 years of civil service, including 38 years as a medical scientific in the Electronic Multimedia Imaging Center of Brooke Army Medical Center. At St. Matthew, he serves as a sacristan, lector, extraordinary minister of holy Communion, confirmation teacher, youth minister and Mission Group member. He also serves as the pastoral representative to the St. Matthew Mission Group as well as Youth Ministry.
